Created to push the boundaries of new frontiers of computer graphics and digital technologies, the company has implemented innovative techniques for the development of accurate virtual realities bound to revolutionize cultural and artistic production by combining tools, methodologies, and competences of engineering and ICT.
The faithful digital reconstruction of sites of interest, landscapes, objects, and architecture is made possible thanks to high-resolution sensing with next-generation sensors and successive data processing based on a processing chain enhanced to guarantee the sustainability of costs and swift production time.

The Story
Digital Lighthouse is the result of a research and development project in the field of 3D computer graphics promoted in 2019 DsN Studios Business Groups. Geocart started from the experience acquired in its business sector and has now identified innovative techniques for virtual simulation and the reconstruction of accurate 3D digital models of natural environments, sites of interest, sets, architectures and object, by exploiting the data obtained through remote sensing.
The result achieved was the enhancement of the production of visual effects for the cinema, digital reconstruction of the cultural and natural heritage, and development of video games, virtual tours, and multimedia libraries. In the company’s name itself lies the will to become a reference point in this new technological era.
The Name
"The name Digital Lighthouse combines two words "lighthouse" which is the name of the first sensor tested in the field of the project sensing activities aimed at reconstructing accurate 3D models and "digital" that is the new era which is making an epochal change in all sectors, especially in those of information, cinema and multimedia"
